Kondor Birding & Wildlife EcoLodge is our home base in the center of Kiskunság National Park, Hungary, Central Europe when we are not in Latin America. This region is home for the most colourful European birds like Eurasian Roller, European Bee-eater, European Hoopoe, Golden Oriole and such specialities like Great Bustard, Imperial Eagle, Saker and Red-footed Falcon.

During many years we put out more than 400 individually design nestboxes for several species. We have special fixed photography hides/blinds and also use pop-up hides. Beside birds there are plenty of butterflies, dragonflies, wildflowers and even endemic orchids around.

Romania is one of the last places in Europe where traditional lifestyle and agriculture still survive. The country's birdlife is one of the richest in the continent, while the biggest areas of untouched forests hold the main population of Bears, Wolves & Lynx.

We put Belarus on the birders' map more than 10 years ago and since then we took loads of American, British, Swiss, Dutch companies and groups there with incredible success rate to show Azure Tit, Great Snipe, Great Gray Owl, Greater Spotted Eagle, Citrine Wagtail, Terek Sandpiper, Aquatic Warbler and many more. Mammals include European Bison, Elk, Beaver but sometimes even Wolf or Lynx is spotted as well. Belarus now is a prime birding destination with ancient forests, hundreds of meandering rivers, the biggest marshes and fens of the continent, while you hardly meet any traffic or even people. We have searched good quality hotels close to the best birding sites.
